On the same day HTC published a blog entitled Little Things That Pack a BIG Punch, possibly teasing a smaller version of the HTC One, Mobile Geeks cranked up the HTC One Max rumor mill once again. According to the German site, HTC plans to release the rumored HTC One Mini in July, followed by an HTC One Max launch in September. The Mini model will allegedly be two inches smaller than the original HTC One, making its display 4.5-inches, and the Max model is said to feature a 6-inch full HD display.
Rumored specs for the HTC One Mini include a 1.4Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB on internal storage.
Rumored specs for the HTC One Max include a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB or 64GB of internal storage and a 3,200mAh battery.
If the rumors are true, it seems HTC is preparing to take on Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S4 Mini and Galaxy Note 3. The two companies have already gone head-to-head with their latest flagship devices the HTC One and Galaxy S4.
Samsung’s 2013 Galaxy lineup also includes the S4 Active and S4 Zoom camera/phone.
